Welcome to DFRP (Digimon Forum RolePlay) This guide has been created for our users' convenience and should be read upon joining DFRP. The guide is always being updated and because of this it would be wise to reread every so often. I have a lot of things planned for DFRP and I hope to enjoy them with all of you! Thanks for joining, and if there is anything in this guide you find confusing please post in the support board located here. <---Add link to support board.

-Forum Rules- [FR]

First things first let us go through the several but hopefully not overwhelming set of rules. These should be followed or punishments will be given. Most of the following has been read through and edited from other RolePlaying sites to be used here.

Rule Update: Do not double post unless you are in a thread by yourself, also known as soloing.

Rule Update: Only one character per account. You cannot RP two characters on one account; it's considered cheating because you're adding more posts to that account in an improper manner.

Rule Update: Every single post must be at least at least a one paragraph post. From now on anyone that disobeys that rule will lose two posts. One paragraph here is considered 5 lines or sentences. Everyone should be capable of writing 5 sentences.

Rule Update: Every character can only be in one place at a time. Anyone breaking this rule will lose a 100 post count. We are all human, it doesn't make sense to be in more than one place. There is a slight exception though. You are allowed to be in one regular in-character (IC) thread, one mission thread, one plot thread depending on the plot, and an OOC thread like a crazy Turkey Day event thread or Spin-the-Bottle.

All members should be treated with the same basic respect that any human being deserves. When considering respect, statistics such as post counts, staff positions or the time spent here are meaningless. Our forum's staff members ARE first and foremost members; they should be seen as the board's workers, not as all powerful deities. Everyone should aim to get along with one another, avoid conflict, respect each other, and respect the boards.

Before reading, remember there are no auto hits. That means you can not say you hit the person; it must state that you are trying to hit/making an attempt at attacking them.

- Image Rules

This one is simple in all honesty. There can not be any image larger then 450pxl by 450pxl for regular posts within the site. Reasons why is because we do not wish to have the forum stretched out in any way. Though don't freak out too much over this; there's a special code that resizes the images if they're too big. But you should still avoid using huge images; even with the code, it tends to slow loading times for people.

-Character Creation- [CC]

Character creation is simple and staff tries to make it as painless as possible for our members. We will first show you the Character Template and explain the fields you must fill out, then go on to explaning your digital partners and the special circumstances we will allow.

Update: ONLY STAFF CAN POST IN OTHER PEOPLE'S PROFILES. We understand that people wish to help, but having regular members jump into other people's profiles leads to confusion and also takes up space. Not to mention it can lead to fierce arguments or clashes between either the regular member and the owner of the profile, regular member and the staff looking over the profile, or a mixture of the two.

In this section of the guide we will go through the explination of your digital partners growth starting with Digivices and ending with digivolution.

-Digital/Real World- [DRW]

This section of the guide contains knowledge of how to get from the real world to the digital world and vice versa. Travel in these worlds will also be explained.

- Secrecy

Although you have full control of the way your character acts, the digital world as well as digimon should NOT be revealed to anyone in the real world that would not already know of it. Meaning don't RP that your father knows about digimon and lets you go to their world all the time. Take note that in the future there may be an event that will change this.

- Trailmon

Simply RolePlay your character entering the other world by riding a Trailmon in Shibuya Station. A Digivice is required for humans!

- Travel

Traveling from one area board to the next will be done as follows. You just simply RP yourself leaving the current thread then post another thread in the area you wish to go in. For example, if I want to go from the plains to Hub City, I can simply put at the end of my last post -Exit Thread- then move on to post another thread in Hub City. No approval is required.

A way of getting to one place to another is by trailmons, there are rail roads every where, so finding a trailmon is not impossible. Humans need to have their digivices on them to access it. Digimon can ride the trailmon freely. Portals are no longer used. If you want to use portals you must buy a portal in this shop.

- Growth

Unlike other RPs DFRP will be always changing through events. Meaning that much will be revealed later on and new things will always be implemented. -Staff- [SL]

DFRP's staff is always ready to help and is ready to assist you in any problem. Please keep in mind that we do have lives offline and will not be on 24/7 so patients will be needed at times.
