NEWB'S GUIDE TO DFRP:
GETTING STARTED!

This will be a basic, step-by-step guide to getting started on DFRP. Basic rules, starting tips, it's all here!

First off: Welcome to DFRP, and thanks for the interest! We're one of the only active digimon RPs on the net, and certainly one of the biggest. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful, and the staff is staff for a reason- Never hesitate to jump one of us if you have any questions!

Step-By-Step Starting Guide

Step #01: READ THE RULES. I can't stress this enough! Just like your VCR instructions: Even if you don't follow them, read them. This is always a bit help to staff, and prevents us from having to answer the same questions over and over again.

Step #02: Create a character profile. The templates can be found here. Your profile can look different than the template- Just be sure all of the info we require is there. Additional info is always welcome! You can be either a tamer or a digimon on this site. Custom digimon are allowed, as well! However, no humans with powers are allowed! Be sure to check here before you choose your digimon, however- Some digimon are locked, or not allowed.

Step #03: Post your profile, and wait for two staff approvals. Honestly, this is usually the hardest part. You must wait for two staff members to approve your profile before you can RP! Sometimes, if you forgot some info, we'll comment and ask you to add said info. As soon as you do, we'll give the okay. As soon as you're approved, your profile will be moved to "Character BIOs", and you'll be good to go!

Step #04: After you've been approved, register your digimon by posting here! This way, we'll know who has what Digimon. Think of it as a census.

Step #05: Roleplay! Remember, you can only be in one thread at a time. There are exceptions- If you're a member of a guild, you may post there and somewhere else at the same time, and ditto for threads that say "OOC" in the title. You may get your digivice and digimon at any time (You could even include it in your history)

Additional Tips!

Register in our Chat Box (At the very bottom of every page)! There's almost always some staff member hanging out there. If not, there's typically a member who can help you out if you have any questions. Some awesome conversations have taken place there, and we're all very friendly. We're like the breakfast club, except for more epic and less food.
